Soma than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have taken too much of this
Soma. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements.
Every medicine can cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following occurs: Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, tongue, and lips); temporary loss of vision; double vision. Feeling of a whirling motion; clumsiness; irritability; depressive reactions;sleeplessness; smarting eyes; fever; weakness; lightheadedness; flushing of the face; nausea; vomiting; upset stomach; dizziness; weakness; dilated pupils;slurred speech; agitation; exaggerated sense of well being; confusion; disorientation;tremor; fainting; increased heartbeat or hiccups.
Before using
Carisoprodol, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding ; if you are taking any prescription, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement; if you have a history of substance abuse; if you have impaired kidney or liver function.
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Carisoprodol may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Do not take this medication if you are allergic to any ingredient of
Carisoprodol or to similar medications you have the blood disease porphyria.
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
